Flooding on Black River forces bridge closure

Jim Lake's Bridge, on the Black River Road, was closed by the Ministry of Transportation due to high waters levels and threats of damage due to ice dam build-up.
The Bridge re-opened on Monday, January 15th.

Bristol Council held their 2018 budget meeting December 19. The mill rate was lowered to .64 from .66 where it had been for the last 3 years. Total revenue for the year will be $2,536,960, up by almost $300,000, with the largest increase coming from the Gas Tax transfer. read more »
