After a two year break, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Pontiac Journal’s Readers’ Choice awards are back for 2022!
Readers’ Choice highlights the best of MRC Pontiac’s and the Municipality of Pontiac’s businesses by giving our readers the chance to vote for their favourites. For 2022 there are 24 categories covering Best Restaurants, Best professionals, Best Activities, and Best Stores. Something new this year is to choose winners in each region of the Pontiac; for example, what’s your Favourite Place to Eat Out in Upper Pontiac, Central Pontiac or Eastern Pontiac? Or, what’s the Best Tourism or Recreation business in each of those regions?
There are also categories that recognize our many “unsung heroes”: The Best Service Club or Non-Profit Organization. There’s also a category for Best New Business and the feature category this year is to recognize a business that has been serving our area for over 15 years: Best Longstanding Business.
The Readers’ Choice is easy, and fun; it’s a great way to salute all the men and women who work so hard to bring us the products and services that we need, right here in the Pontiac. What better way to support your local economy than by shopping locally and recognizing the businesses and their owners who do such a great job?
Simply check out the ad on page 9, where all the categories are listed; you can fill it in and mail it to us or go on-line to www.pontiacjournal.com where you simply scroll down on the home page to a link where you can access the ballot and send it to us directly.
