We are a group of volunteer Islanders dedicated to developing the tourist attractions, culture and heritage of L’Ile-du-Grand-Calumet.
We want to develop existing sites to encourage people to discover our Island and invite citizens to think of different areas that could be developed to attract more tourists.

The first project of the Groupe L’Ile-du-Grand Calumet is to improve the existing Cadieux Park at the entrance to the village to make it a tourist and heritage attraction. Cadieux Park owes its name to Jean Cadieux, a ‘‘coureur des bois’’, who was born in Boucherville, on March 12, 1671 and died in L’Ile-du-Grand-Calumet in May 1709. His tragic death became legendary thanks to the voyageurs and others who kept his story alive until this day.
Be proud of our island with its hidden treasures!
