LITCHFIELD – LiveWell Canada Inc., the company promising to establish a cannabis research center in the Pontiac Industrial Park, recently merged with two other companies: Acenzia Inc., located near Windsor, Ontario, and Vitality CBD Natural Health Products Inc., an American company. The new company, re-named “Eureka 93”, is aiming to become a leader in the cannabidiol (CBD) sector through the cultivation and extraction of hemp.
Eureka 93 Inc., with the tagline “Ingenuity. From the ground up” plans to create a vertically integrated CBD life sciences company from the three companies: LiveWell Canada Inc., a CBD researcher and developer; Vitality CBD Natural Health Products Inc., a processor of hemp CBD and Acenzia Inc., a developer and manufacturer of natural health products.
The plan is to focus on the cultivation, extraction, product formulation, manufacturing and distribution of hemp CBD products. “This confirms our transformation into a world-class life sciences company in the CBD sector,” said David Rendimonti, President and CEO of LiveWell Canada. (…) We are convinced that the market for CBD from hemp will really explode.”
The new Canadian based company will be headquartered in Gatineau, Quebec, with locations in Eureka, Montana, Windsor, Ontario and Las Cruces, New Mexico. They continue to have discussions with the Quebec government about their projects with assurances that the merger of the companies doesn’t affect their development.
The name Eureka 93 was chosen because the first CBD extraction site was located in Eureka, Montana, near Highway 93.
As of press time, representatives the newly formed Eureka 93 Inc. did not respond to the Journal’s inquiries. (LL)
