PORTAGE-DU-FORT – The Pontiac Artists’ Association’s (PAA) 2015 art season began May 8 with the first of five exhibitions that run throughout the summer until October.
Until June 7, drawing and printmaking artist Tina Petrovicz invites visitors to explore still life drawings in “Exploration” in the Stone School’s Lower Gallery. In the Upper Gallery “This is my road” is a group exhibit that explores the personal artistic journey of PAA artists through their vast array of work including photography, painting, drawing, printmaking and fibre sculpture.
The 26th annual Pontiac Artists’ Studio Tour, which features the artwork of 12 artists in 11 studios throughout the Pontiac, runs for two weekends, June 13-14 and June 20-12. This is a great chance to meet and talk with local artists, see their work and/or make a
purchase. Admission is always free. A tour map can be found online at www.art
