Portage-du-Fort – Local photographer Jody Koch opened her first solo exhibition, Pères du Pontiac, at artPontiac’s Stone School Gallery in Portage-du-Fort on June 18. The exhibition features photographs celebrating the relationships between Pontiac fathers and their children and continues until July 9. Created in partnership with AutonHomme Pontiac, it pairs Koch’s photographs with five short documentary films by filmmaker Marie France Laval as part of the Pères en lumière project. The initiative highlights the important role fathers play in family and community life while reflecting AutonHomme Pontiac’s mission of supporting families in the region. The exhibition also reflects artPontiac’s mission of promoting local artists and showcasing the stories that define the Pontiac.
