Pontiac’s Gail Ryan appointed as CISSSO Director of Nursing

Gail Ryan, who was named interim general director and spokesperson for the Pontiac area after the adoption of Law 10, was recently appointed as the Director of Nursing for the Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux de l’Outaouais (CISSSO).

Gail Ryan, who was named interim general director and spokesperson for the Pontiac area after the adoption of Law 10, was recently appointed as the Director of Nursing for the Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux de l’Outaouais (CISSSO).
Ryan, director of physical health and nursing care at the Pontiac Community Hospital for nine years and a nurse by training, has extensive experience and knowledge in the health network; she holds a Bachelor of Nursing degree in addition to a Masters in Health Administration. Ryan has a good understanding of the reality
of nursing as well as the many challenges of the Outaouais.
“Without a doubt, her experience in the health network as well as her work experience will be an essential contribution to addressing many of the challenges the CISSSO faces,” said Jean Hébert, CISSSO Chief Executive Officer.
