PPJ: what an asset!

My wife and I must compliment Les Amies Cycloparc PPJ and GreenPPJVerte
on their support of the PPJ trail. Recently I noticed some bicycle repair tool stations were added along the trail – one to the west of Campbell’s Bay – which were very thoughtful.

We routinely walk sections of the PPJ as a form of exercise and engagement with nature. We are particularly impressed with the wide variety of birdlife in the Campbell’s Bay and Litchfield area, which also has a great variety of forest, farm and wetland.
I have been going to our cottage since the late 60’s from Ottawa, and this facility offers a nice destination to complement swimming, paddling and beach gazing at the cottage. We have also launched the canoe from Campbell’s Bay many times
to explore the river. We bicycle too, but walking affords better discovery of the many animals and birds.
We hope support continues for this facility and that it’s not opened to ATVs in the non-winter season. In our mind, that would totally disrupt the incredible variety of birds along the path.
