Protesting construction laws

I recently received information from the Regie du batiment du Quebec        concerning new regulations that would impose harsh fines for those who have an RBQ license but who are not designated in the proper category or subcategory. Fines range from $5,290 to $26,450 for individuals and from $15,870 to $79,351 for corporations.

In the case where a    subcontractor does not have any licenses, the fines can range from about $10,000 to $80,000 for individuals and from about $31,000 to $159,000 for corporations.
I want to bring this to the attention of the media and the public as I am sure that anyone who holds an RBQ license would have received the same information, whether they are a very large company, or just a little outfit like myself trying to make a living.
My intention with this letter is to protest and bring awareness to how    ludicrous the construction laws in Quebec have become.
