Tearing our culture to pieces

This is in response to Jean-Claude Rivest’s letter titled “A proposed Charter of Values?” in the October 9 issue. In it, Rivest mentioned that our forefathers gave their lives “to build an inclusive nation, where people of all colours, tongues and creeds could build a life”.

This is in response to Jean-Claude Rivest’s letter titled “A proposed Charter of Values?” in the October 9 issue. In it, Rivest mentioned that our forefathers gave their lives “to build an inclusive nation, where people of all colours, tongues and creeds could build a life”. I am sure they are rolling in their graves as they watch how the Liberal Bleeding Hearts continue to tear our culture to pieces, and reflect on what they have done.
For example: at Christmas time, what I believe to be a happy season, Christmas parties are not allowed in schools; what used to be known as a snowman, is now a snow buddy; Halloween parties are no longer allowed in schools; and there is no more religion in schools.
I do not, and will never vote for the Partis Québecois, however, I do support the proposed legislation to preserve Québec culture, which is being eroded in the rest of Canada. The people in Québec see what is happening in the rest of the country. They are protecting Québec, while the rest of Canada is being dismantled piece by piece.
