GREAT GARAGE SALE, GREATER GIVING
The annual Great Norway Bay Garage Sale took place July 5, with 30 vendors listed on an online map shared via the Norway Bay Facebook page as the event went paperless this year. Each registered vendor pledged a minimum $10 donation to the Norway Bay Municipal Association. Several participants also donated sale proceeds to local charities. Patty Loveridge (pictured above) raised $400 for Bouffe Pontiac through plant and sundry sales, while Marta Monaghan contributed $400 to Animal Aide Pontiac from her “mostly clothing” table. A neighbour added $100, bringing the total donation to Animal Aide to $500. – Deborah Powell
