How do you get rid of unwanted guests? I have had this problem for years now, and yet, I can’t make them go away. They sneak in on me, unexpected, and step in when they shouldn’t. I can’t ignore the fact they are in my house.
How do you get rid of unwanted guests? I have had this problem for years now, and yet, I can’t make them go away. They sneak in on me, unexpected, and step in when they shouldn’t. I can’t ignore the fact they are in my house.
The worst part is that I am the only one capable of telling them apart; everyone confuses them for one another. Most people ignore that there are two of them and they play tricks on people by only allowing one to be seen at a time.
In a household like mine, it is not rare to have a guest like the ones I have and it is oftentimes considered normal. We have to tolerate one of them, otherwise life would be unbearable if truth be told. It is when one backs up the other that trouble starts.
Who are these guests? You don’t see how someone could have unwanted guests in their house? I bet you’ve had these guests at times but you did not have a problem kicking them to the curb and I couldn’t agree more with that decision.
“I can’t” is the name of the first unwanted guest; “I won’t” is the second. I cannot support “I won’t” unless it comes from the righteous conscience. “I can’t” pops in when it is not wanted or necessary and speaks for “I won’t.”
I would rather hit my head against a wall than try to debate with these two. All they are able to achieve is to upset everyone and make us all miserable and incapable of evolving. As long as those guests take the space belonging to “I am capable” and “I am evolving,” I cannot bear to watch the show any longer.
So, I will be taking a vacation away from “I can’t” and “I won’t” and I will treat “I am capable” and “I am evolving” as they haven’t been treated before; it will make me stronger and better. Anyone wishing to spend time with me will have to make room for “I am capable” and “I am evolving” to be with us.
