The Municipality of Pontiac led the charge for assisted dying over 20 years ago; you can ride your bike on the highway and get hit in the back of the head with a truck mirror, or along a back road and get hit in the face with gravel shot from a tire at bullet speed.

Now the MRC Pontiac is thinking that it would be more efficient to bring the motorized vehicles right to the bikers. No, the bike path would not be livelier, it would be deadlier. The bike path is too quiet? That’s right! That’s what’s good about it. There is talk of developing the park in Campbell’s Bay and if that comes to pass, even more people will use the PPJ.
Any moto-cross magazine will tell you that what they really want is an obstacle course with jumps and mud pits. This can be built on the land behind the MRC building in Campbell’s Bay. That would solve everything. What? NIMBY? Surprise, surprise!
