There was fun in the sun, August 1st, when some families from Otter Lake experienced a day at Mont Cascade compliments of Otter Lake RA; the RA holds various fundraisers including ball hockey and baseball tournaments to pay for the special event. Participants received discounted tickets, a reserved tent area and transportation as part of the annual trip which first began in 2012. The weather was a bit chilly for the 90 participants, but everyone enjoyed the slides and excitement of the family friendly water park. The Otter Lake RA’s next event is the Ball Tournament August 12 and 13 featuring DJ Ryan Fletcher on Saturday night.
