EUCHRE CHAMPS: KLUKES TOP CABIN FEVER TOURNAMENT

Lawrence (pictured left) and Anne Kluke (centre) were the winners of the Bristol Community Association’s Cabin Fever Euchre Tournament, each winning 9 out of 10 games played on the afternoon of February 23 at the Bristol Community Centre.
Winnifred Pirie (right), who presented the prizes, also participated in the tournament and was responsible for organizing and timing each round. Other participants were winners in the 50/50 and door prize draws.
The event concluded with a delicious spaghetti supper, accompanied by salad and homemade desserts. – Deborah Powell
