The call for nominations for the 2025 edition of the Hommage to Seniors Award is now open. This year, the nomination period runs from April 28 to May 30.
Organized annually by the Government of Quebec, the Hommage to Seniors Award recognizes the outstanding contributions of one senior from each region. These contributions must promote the well-being of seniors and encourage their participation in community life.
Each year, nominations are received by one of the 18 Regional Seniors’ Roundtables (TRCA), which represent seniors’ organizations in their respective regions. These Roundtables submit the nominations to independent regional committees for evaluation. Selected recipients are recommended to the minister, and award winners are announced during a ceremony in the fall.
As in previous years, I look forward to reviewing the nominations for the Hommage to Seniors Award, which reflect the remarkable energy of the volunteer sector where seniors are so actively involved across Quebec. It is always a pleasure to learn more about these
exceptional individuals whose dedication makes our society a better place.
