CAMPBELL’S BAY–LITCHFIELD FIREFIGHTER’S BALL AND AWARDS NIGHT
Published in the Pontiac Journal on May 7, 2025.
The annual Campbell’s Bay–Litchfield Firefighter’s Ball took place Saturday, May 3, at the RA centre in Campbell’s Bay.
Doors opened at 7:30 pm to a sizeable crowd of fire department members, friends, and supporters attending to honour those being recognized for their years of service.
The evening was also billed as a chance to hear the newly formed Joe Lance Band, but a medical incident prevented Mr. Lance from participating. Michel Smithers stepped in on rhythm guitar and vocals, and the band delivered a lively musical performance. Willy Rivet (bass guitar), Richard Allen (lead guitar), and Levi Post (drums) rounded out the polished group.
Awards were presented to firefighters Travis Corriveau for 10 years of service; Alain Dubeau for 30 years; and Todd Vibert, James Morin, and Lincoln Smith for an impressive 40 years of dedication to public safety. – Clifford Welsh
