Portage-du-Fort has a brand-new waterfront gazebo thanks to Tourism Outaouais. The organization made the offer to the municipality last year, which Portage gratefully accepted. The cement slab was poured on April 20 and the gazebo was built about a week later. “The beautiful gazebo is a spacious place to enjoy a picnic. I hope both tourists and residents alike enjoy the lovely view and serenity by the water.” said Portage Mayor Lynne Cameron.
