Ski Pontiac held their Annual General Meeting Sunday, March 11, at the Bristol Firehall in Norway Bay. Reporting covered the period from November 2022 to November 2023, a year that saw Ski Pontiac moving their operations to Astra Estates (Norway Bay Golf Course) and receiving significant grants to buy equipment to improve trail grooming as well as additional snowshoes for public use. Successful events included snowshoe and cross-country ski workshops and a Moonlight Ski/Snowshoe evening.
Two spots came up for election on the board with Ken Bernard agreeing to continue as vice-president and Bonnie Beveridge as director. The other board members are Ariane Cloutier, president; Val Thompson, secretary; Patty Loveridge, treasurer; Ron Bell, director; and Val Twolan-Graham, municipal council representative.
In her report, President Ariane Cloutier thanked Ski Pontiac volunteers and donors, including the Municipality of Bristol.
