A response to Bonnie Tubman-Zimmerling’s letter: “Yes, please do keep an open mind” Dec. 13, 2023
I want to thank Bonnie for a well-written letter asking many important questions concerning the proposed energy from waste facility. I fully agree with all of her points about the importance of everyone’s right to understand this proposed project and to decide on their own whether they wish to support it or not. There will be time spent reaching out to the community for education, awareness and consultation. The environmental assessment requires this.
