The Chapeau Agricultural Society organized a comedy night to a packed audience, Saturday, February 11, at the Harrington Community Centre Hall. Proceeds will be used for the Chapeau Farmers Market building to be constructed this spring on the Chapeau Agricultural Society property.
A capacity crowd of 170 people enjoyed 90 minutes of stand-up comedy featuring four different performers, all of whom had the audience in stitches throughout the performance. Headliner Bobby Knauff interacted with members of the audience adding a further dimension of entertainment to his act.
Many chose to pre-order food from L’Ancienne Banque to conclude the evening. Volunteers manned the bar, collected tickets, setting up for the show and clearing the tables at night’s end. (PS)
